Jorge Mejía aka BALATRO (b. Oct. 25, 1999, Tegucigalpa, Honduras). BALATRO is the multi-character alter-ego of Honduran artist Jorge Mejia. Appropriating the name given to public entertainers in ancient Roman times, BALATRO is a multimedia and cross-platform project that challenges the role of public entertainers and their relation to media in our post-modern world.
